part of why I recorded this now, is just to have a video version available in years to come, for my kids and grand-kids.   But part of it as well is that I’ve written so extensively about my dad that it simply seemed like a grand balancing of the accounting was due.  

My mom was one of the strongest and most capable people I’ve ever known …. but only showed that side of herself when needed.   Mostly she was kind and gentle and tender-hearted and well spoken about nearly everyone.   And she had a wicked sense of humor, but again, rarely intentionally “made jokes”.  She just appreciated a good story, and new how to spin one of her own, in such a way as to elicit genuine laughter from friends and family.  

Anyway, I hope you enjoy this as much as I enjoyed recording it for  you.
